My Approach
My speech therapy services are highly individualized and data driven. They are integrative with frequent collaboration between parents, therapists, and teachers/staff. I maintain open communication between all parties to ensure continuity of care across environments, most notably carry over between our in-session work and practical application at school. I am able to navigate multiple school-based platforms with ease to support a variety of materials.

The Bay Area Speech Studio (BASS) was founded in 2013 and has undergone many iterations. From multiple office-spaces between Marin and SF, multiple therapists, in-home therapy, school-site visits to the COVID-19 stay at home orders, BASS as weathered many storms with stability, confidence, and consistency.
My initial area of expertise was in Early Intervention (EI) working closely with parents and providing in-home therapy services funded by the Regional Center. As BASS expanded, my expertise grew to include serving clients with fluency disorders, students with autism spectrum disorders, best practice for articulation disorders, and early literacy skills. From there, my interests morphed into learning more about executive functioning, auditory processing disorders, dysgraphia, and dyslexia where I've settled in for the past handful of years taking hours of continuing education to hone my skill. I feel I am at my best when teaching students strategies, skills, and tricks to make laborious writing flow easier, increasing study skills, or when using a tool to increasing their ability to access the curriculum.
